Baptist Church
Sunday Worship Service is held every Sunday at Pennfield Baptist Church.
11:00 -
11:25 -
Our service is Christ centered with singing of both contemporary and traditional hymns.
Pastor Greg gives a message from God’s Word. These messages will instruct, challenge, encourage and inspire you as the Holy Spirit speaks to and through our pastor.
For an example of Pastor Greg’s sermons please visit the media page. Please also view the “What We Teach” section on the home page of our website.
Kingdom Kids Sunday school program runs at the same time as Worship service for ages 3-
Kingdom Kids is the name of our Sunday School and they meet at Kingdom Kids Corner every Sunday morning during the full hour of the Worship Service.
Our classes are for children ages 3 to 11. We offer age specific bible teaching for kindergarten and elementary school levels.
Starting in the Fall of 2021 we will be using “The Gospel Project” materials across all our children’s and adult education programs.
At Kingdom Kids, children are taught the Word of God through stories and activities that both engage their participation, unleash their creativity and stimulate their need to learn about and experience their creator all the while keeping the focus on the glorious message of the gospel.
Bible Study occurs twice during the week at Pennfield Baptist.
Tuesday at 7:00 PM
Wednesday at 11:00 AM
These studies help us to not only learn the word of God but to find practical ways to live out the great commission, equip us to live a Christ like life and share the Good News with others.
Along with traditional read and discuss style study we also use video teaching series with discussion time to follow. No one is ever put on the spot for their opinion. You can participate or simply listen and learn.
Both studies are a great time to bond with brothers and sisters in Christ and share struggles, triumphs and knowledge that we have learned over the years.
Our Discipleship Course is a 12 week program. In a small group setting of no more than 6 people we will introduce you to, or refresh your memory of, topics on the basics of the Christian life.
Our Mission Board meets monthly to discuss and find ways to meet the needs of our local community. Focused on spiritual outreach through the meeting of physical needs we endeavour to share the Good News of Christ in practical ways that demonstrate Christ’s love for our community.
If you are reading this and are struggling or you know of someone who is, please contact us. There are no strings attached to the help that we offer.
Our Music Ministry is part of the regular worship service and currently consists of congregational singing to recorded music on our video screen that is a mix of both traditional hymns and choruses along with contemporary praise and worship songs.
Through the use of various forms of Technology and Social Media we strive to make our worship service and other church events more engaging. We currently have a large screen projection system that we use in service for song lyrics, bible reading and sermon notes as well as themed video clips.
Our facebook page is filled with event reminders, prayer requests and thought provoking quotes.
We use the internet technology to connect with people through our webpage and to offer pastor Reg's sermons to a larger audience.
New technology but a consistent timeless message of Good News. Making this Good News more accessible is the goal of the technology team.
Various Fellowship Ministries
Senior Time: Meeting on the third Tuesday of each month for a meal, fellowship, a devotional and some fun with games and door prizes.
Men’s Breakfast: We meet the last Saturday of each month at 9:00am for breakfast and then head to a home in the community to encourage the owner(s) by raking the yard, cleaning gutters and windows or other small jobs.Games Night: Meeting once a month on a Saturday night this time is designed for the whole family, a time to bond and make new friends.
Games Night is a time to invite your non church friends to a less "churchy" event. Witnessing starts with friendship that are strengthened through group activities.
